A.J. Henriksen made a three wide pass with only 8 laps remaining to overtake Brent Downey and score his first career victory in the Sunoco National Tour on Saturday night at Springport Motor Speedway in Springport, Michigan. Henriksen ran up front all night and battled for the top spot throughout the race before finally pulling off the winning move late in the race, sending Lorz Motorsports to victory lane for the first time in the Sunoco National Tour.

“That was a lot of fun,” said an ecstatic Henriksen in victory lane. “We had a really good car. It could not have been any better. I rode behind Downey for the first part of the race, and then I made my move with eight laps to go!”
