Sunoco National Tour PR- (July 18, 2010)
Under the Hood with the Sunoco National Tour and ASA Late Model Series will have the two winning drivers from this weekend’s racing action at the Milwaukee Mile on the show Monday night. Andy Bozell, who claimed his first career Sunoco National Tour victory at the famed Milwaukee Mile will be our first guest, and he will tell us what it was like to win at such a legendary track in a race he entered at the last minute.
Stopping by in our ADP Rivet driver spotlight this week will be ASA Late Model Series driver, Griffin McGrath. McGrath is coming off of his first career ASA Late Model Series victory after a dominating performance at the Mile on Saturday. Griffin was the AR Bodies Fast Qualifier, and led the majority of the race in route to his dominating victory. Griffin will tell us what it is like to score his first career victory at such a legendary venue as the Milwaukee Mile.
We will also hear some audio clips from some of the other competitors after their races concluded at the Milwaukee Mile on Saturday, including Brent Downey, who had a dominating effort spoiled by a failing motor. We will also hear a clip from Eddie Hoffman, who finished third in the ASA Late Model North race and second in the Sunoco National Tour race. As always, we will look at how the former ASA Late Model Series drivers fared this weekend in the Nationwide and Camping World Truck events at Gateway.
